The Solway Firth attracts huge numbers of migrant wading birds and wildfowl from Autumn until late Spring.

Davy Campbell's local knowledge, gained from over 35 years experience of the wind, moons and tides is invaluable when using a wildfowling guide on the Solway Firth.

"First thing to do when you come to the marsh in the dark is listen" says Davy. "Geese have very distinct calls, when they're ready to move, or even in flight, each species of goose can be identified by its sound."
